is using a fix registry a good idea?

November 2nd, 2010 Leave a comment Go to comments

i had a problem installing sims 2 bon voyage and sims 2 freetime. whenever it reaches to 100%, a pop up appears and say “electronic arts autorun has encountered a problem and needs to close.” so i ask how to fix this problem and someone has suggested to use a registry fixer, but i read about that instead of fixing ur computer it will make it worse. should i still do it?

Free registry-fix programs fix only a few of the problems, or just identify them for you, then you have to pay to have the rest fixed. A registry fixer won’t help with an install problem. Going to the Electronic Arts site, I found this link–always a good idea to go to the source for an answer, first!

It would be a good idea to download one. Regcure is a good safe choice. Its worth it to get it. Plus they can’t prevent anymore problems that come later. Check out http://www.software-pc.net for more info

Registry scanners can be both good and bad. There’s times it can do harm, and when used properly, can help your PC out in incredible ways. If you were to use one, I’d recommend RegCure. I’ve used it for about a year now, and it has definitely helped in removing system errors.
